Understanding your DSLR is aimed at anyone who's new to digital, or just upgraded their DSLR. You'll get guidance as to what you need to do to succeed with your digital photography. We'll cover RAW Vs JPEG, white balance, and much more. Aimed at the beginner.

Calumet Nottingham will be hosting two fantastic seminars, on Thursday 27th May.

• 'Digital workflow the easy way' 9.30 to 12.30
• 'Understanding RAW workflow' 1.30 to 4.30

The two seminars work well together - the afternoon following on well from the morning. However, the morning is aimed more at the beginner, maybe someone who has recently bought a DSLR, the afternoon builds on that or is aimed at someone who is a bit more established, but wants to exapnd their knowledge and imaging skills.

The tutor is the super-knowledgable Andy Johnson, who is a high end digital expert.

The seminar takes place at the Calumet Nottingham branch, 2 Nelson Street, NG1 1DR.

Calumet Nottingham, today, hosted Crash Taylor - with his sold out 'Master your wedding photography' seminar.

The seminar sold out within hours of going on the web. Eager, aspiring wedding photographers travelled from as far as Fife, and Hertfordshire to see Crash.

Today was the hottest day of the year, and we had the privilege of having the hottest seminar of the year, at Calumet Nottingham.
